Membership Chair
“I’m most excited about making it possible for the Library to continue to be the place for free education, technology and entertainment in Ankeny!”
Nicole Mueller
Marketing Chair
“Not only do libraries connect people to information, they connect people to people. I’m enthusiastic about keeping our community informed of all the ways our “Friends” are working to help support our wonderful library
Gina Rooney
Finance Chair
“Create a fund that will continue to grow versus just raising enough money to cover expenses from one year to the next; share the joy of reading; draw new people to the library.”
Sam Mitchell
Library Director
Danielle Burmeister
“Libraries are one of the most powerful forces for equity in our communities. Libraries help people without internet apply for jobs, complete degrees and learn new things. They offer free literacy programs, ESL classes and children’s programming. On hot days, they offer free cooling stations for families who can’t afford air conditioning. And they’re just a generally fun and welcoming place to spend time. I’m proud to be part of an organization that helps maintain access to these important resources!”
Amy Yeager
Fundraising Chair
“The library is an amazing resource for all people in the Ankeny community.”
