Financial donations of any amount are appreciated. The Friends of the Ankeny Library is an independent, philanthropic organization dedicated to enhancing the library through fundraising and advocacy. Our organization helps fund library events and special projects like the summer reading program, teen and adult book clubs, author visits, educational programs and the popular Adventure Pass program that givens patrons free access to area attractions like the Blank Park Zoo and the Science Center of Iowa. As a 501(c)(3) corporation, charitable donations are considered tax deductible by the Internal Revenue Service.
